TYFO® Specialty Epoxies And Coating Systems
A wide range of high quality, durable and specifically formulated epoxies and coating are available for use with the various TYFO® e-glass, carbon and aramid fabrics and laminates to provide ideal priming, bonding, saturation, top-coat and finishing where the TYFO® Fibrwrap® Composite Strengthening Systems are to be applied. These specialty TYFO® Epoxies and Coatings also have the ability to be used as stand-alone systems to provide suitable environmental protective coatings to concrete and steel surfaces.
The selection of the appropriate TYFO® Epoxies and Coating will depend on the environmental conditions at the time of application as well as the final long term exposure conditions that the installed FRP system will encounter.
Commonly used TYFO® Specialty Epoxies and Coating Systems:
TYFO® S Saturant Epoxy
A high grade, two-component, 0% VOC epoxy matrix specifically engineered to be used as a saturant for the various TYFO® Fibrwrap Composite System fabrics. Has excellent work-time, pot-life, durability and working temperature range.

TYFO® TC Tack-Coat Epoxy
A two-component, solvent-free epoxy matrix material specially formulated to provide improved adhesion between TYFO® Fibrwrap® Composite Systems fabrics and the concrete substrate for vertical and overhead applications. It is also used for bonding TYFO® UC and UG laminate strips to concrete substrates.

TYFO® SW-1 Underwater Epoxy
A two-component underwater curing epoxy matrix to be used in combination with the TYFO® Fibrwrap® Composite System fabrics to provide underwater structural strengthening. Can also be used as an underwater primer coating to concrete and steel surfaces.

TYFO® SW-1S Underwater Epoxy
A two-component low viscosity underwater curing epoxy matrix formulated to be used in combination with the TYFO® Fibrwrap® Composite Systems fabrics to provide underwater structural strengthening. It allows for complete saturation to the finer TYFO® fabrics.

A two-component, hi-build, 100% solids epoxy formulation developed for use as a fill-and-level primer/undercoat over which TYFO® Fibrwrap® Composite Systems may be applied, or as a final protective durability coating over the TYFO® Composites as well as on bare concrete surfaces.

TYFO® PWC Potable Water-NSF Listed Epoxy Coating
A two-component, 100% solids and corrosion resistant epoxy that can be supplied to dry surfaces or wet epoxies. It is formulated for broad range corrosion protection and is certified safe for potable water (ANSI/NSF 61) and incidental food contact.
