Upgrading of Bridges and Flyovers, Singapore using TYFO® Fibrwrap® Systems

In Singapore, there are many existing bridges and flyovers that have been constructed over the years and due to aging, wear and tear, as well as increase in axle loads of vehicles, these structures need to be upgraded. The Tyfo® Fibrwrap® System has been used on many of these bridges and flyovers in order to strengthen, upgrade and protect them. These include strengthening to slabs, beams, columns and piers of the bridges and flyovers as well as expansion joints repair, bearings repair, anti-carbonation coating, etc.
With a wide selection of Tyfo® products available, many bridges have been successfully retrofitted and upgraded up to the current standards. Tyfo® UC55, Tyfo® SCH41, Tyfo® SEH 51A, Tyfo® epoxy Tyfo® TC, Tyfo® WS, etc were a few of the systems utilized in these projects.
The rejuvenated bridges and flyovers gives a new and pleasing appearance along the roadways all over Singapore.
